Gangga Divers, the house PADI dive centres for Lotus Hotel’s five resorts, has been rebranded with a fantastic new logo.

The logo’s base, a nautilus shell, reflects the sea and constant growth, which is what Gangga Divers’ service is all about. The logo also contains the letter G in the shell’s spiral, unifying the first initial of Gangga Divers and the shell. (more…)

Climb Gili Trawangan Hill for the Best Views in Gili T

Gili Trawangan is known for it’s white sand beaches and azure waters, but there exploring the interior of the island has some gems as well. Gili Trawangan Hill is a natural viewpoint on the south-western side of the island. This forested hill is about a 25 minute walk from Villa Almarik and then 15 to 20 minutes up a relatively easy trail. Gili Trawangan and Villa Almarik through the eyes of Arini our Front Office Manager

Villa Almarik is on the island of Gili Trawangan, about 15 minutes by boat from mainland Lombok. Many of the staff come from Lombok but live close to the hotel, for ease of getting to and from work every day. Working on Gili Trawangan is a little different from visiting, so we thought one of the staff members at Villa Almarik might be able to tell us what to see and do on the island.
