PADI Certification

Gangga Divers at Villa Almarik offer a range of PADI courses for everyone from first time divers to those well experienced in the water. Professional PADI certified dive instructors guide you through every element of diving to ensure your safety.

If you’re not 100% sure that diving is for you, a great tester is the PADI Discover Scuba Diving course. This is just a half-day course that is suitable for anyone from 10 years up. You’ll start off learning the basics and try out the gear in the pool at Villa Almarik.

If you decide to move on to learn more the PADI Scuba Diver is your next step. You can also start directly with this course. In just 2 days you’ll learn enough about diving to take on 2 open water dives.

Some of the best sites around Gili Trawangan for beginners are Sunset, Goodreef and Trawangan Slope. Here you may see sea turtles, angelfish, schools of sweetlips and plenty more. Once you’ve done this course you might be hooked on diving for life!

Additional Courses

Once you’re hooked and ready to go further there are more options at Gangga Divers. You can take courses to increase your certification level if you already dive. Gili Trawangan is a fantastic place to take your PADI Open Water or Advanced Open Water courses thanks to the varied dive sites so close to the island.
